Distance Learning - Enhancing Educational Experiences

SERESC is the ideal model of a 21st century "classroom without walls". Through the use of high tech learning vehicles in both traditional school environments and at our state-of-the-art facility, SERESC is illustrating what the future of education may look like.

Over the past several years, SERESC has facilitated the placement of videoconferencing equipment in many schools throughout NH. Through these systems regardless of how rural or urban a community might be, all students can have equal access to high quality educational content. Through successful USDA Rural Utilities Services (RUS) Grant Applications, SERESC has helped facilitate videoconferencing capability in the communities listed in the chart below. Future RUS grants and other initiatives that include the procurement of distance learning equipment will be pursued as they are identified.

This year's Distance Learning & Telemedicine Conference, which will discuss on RUS Grants and similar funding opportunities, will be held at SERESC on Wednesday, February 13, 2008. All are welcome to attend this full day event, free of charge. For more information, click here for a PDF.
