BOOST NH Planning for Summer

BOOST NH is offering a training on Planning for Summer to the school-age afterschool community.  Planning summer programming can feel overwhelming: there are many hours to fill, the content needs to support academic skills (but also be fun), and supply and transportation budgets are stretched thin.  During this 3-hour workshop designed for school-age afterschool care professionals, we will plan project-based lessons that are adaptable for differing age groups and use minimal resources that will engage our young people while combating summer learning loss.

Trainer:  Kristin Pineo, M.Ed;  NH Afterschool Master Professional Workshop Trainer (ASMPWT)

Professional Development Hours:  3                         Core Knowledge Area:  Programming and Environment

Registration Cost:  None but preregistration is required.

BOOST NH is a project of SERESC funded by the Child Development Bureau.  Our goal is to provide statewide technical assistance and professional development opportunities to after school providers to support their work in creating high-quality, innovative programs for school-aged children.
