Tips, Strategies, and Important Considerations for Individual Standardized Evaluations of Students

Presented by Nate Jones, Ph.D., NCSP, BCBA 

This presentation focuses on potential adjustments to individual standardized assessments with students, primarily for special education services. The presentation begins with a discussion of the decision to test or not during this time, then outlines recommendations for PPE and sanitization practices and discusses the impacts on test administration. The presentation ends with a discussion of the impacts of COVID-19 on individual student functioning, and written and verbal communication strategies for educators.
