We offer professional development in responding effectively to a wide range of student needs. Our trainings include consideration of the social-emotional skills of students and staff, and a focus on diversity and inclusion.
Initiatives
We oversee grant-funded projects that have been repeatedly funded by the state as well as private donors, attesting to the significant impact that SERESC has had on the New Hampshire nonprofit and educational community.

New Hampshire Afterschool Network Lead Sunni Tainter meets with Senator Jean Shaheen at national conference.
Over 47 states were represented and 200 afterschool representatives participated earlier this month in the Afterschool For All Challenge hosted by the Afterschool Alliance. The purpose of the conference was to advocate for increased funding for Out-of-School Time programming.
SERESC would like to congratulate Charlotte Scott, Program Director of SoRock, a SERESC project preventing substance misuse by youth, for receiving the 2026 Heart of the Community Award!
Charlotte is receiving this award for her leadership, generosity and commitment in making the community stronger every day.
Charlotte will be honored at the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce’s annual GAL-entine’s Day celebration on February 11, a fitting occasion to recognize the heart, hustle and impact that SoRock brings to the region.
