Who We Are

The Southeastern Regional Educational Service Center (SERESC) is proud of its deep historical roots in New Hampshire.

Our History

The Southeastern Regional Educational Service Center (SERESC) has deep historical roots in New Hampshire. SERESC was formed in 1974 as an educational collaborative when 14 New Hampshire school districts pooled their resources to support special education students being mainstreamed into public schools for the first time.

Today, 50 years later, SERESC has a different structure as a private, nonprofit education organization, and a more diverse offering of services, but the same goal of helping children and youth reach their potential.

“Our school has worked with SERESC in a variety of capacities, and they come through each and every time. SERESC goes above and beyond to help find solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of students. It is always a pleasure to collaborate with them.”
